Rooting your Xperia SL ( lt26ii ), Step by Step Process

Today, we’ll let you know, How to Root your Sony Xperia SL Smartphone. This is a step by step guide, and generally one of the easiest way to Root Xperia devices. We’ll do it using a Rooting Toolkit created by a recognized Xda developer, which almost works on all Xperia devices. NOTE: This full step by step procedure is for Xperia SL (lt26ii) running on 6.2.B.1.96 kernel and for those phones having 6.2.B.211 kernel don't worry just skip the "Step 1" and "STEP 3". 

Find your Xperia SL kernel Go to

Settings > about phone > Build number.

Preparing Your Device:

• Rooting your Sony Xperia SL, will void its warranty and you are doing it your own risk.!
• Enable USB Debugging on your Xperia SL, by going to Settings->Developers Options->USB Debugging
• Install USB Drivers on your PC, if you haven’t installed yet, here is the link to Download.

• Install flashtool which can flash your device

How to Root Sony Xperia (SL LT26ii) (Step by Step Guide)

STEP 1:

• Install the flashtool.

• Click the flash sign the select "fastboot" and select the "LT26ii_6.2.B.0.211_XperiaSL_KernelOnly.ftf" where you have download it.

• Connect your Xperia SL and follow the steps as the flashtool shows.

STEP 2:

• After automatic reboot of your phone Unzip "DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit.zip" and keep connect your phone to your PC and open "runme_win" and follow the steps.

• Again after automatic reboot you found the SuperUser app naming "SuperSU", now your phone is rooted..!!

STEP 3:

Now the last step, to flash kernel "LT26ii_6.2.B.1.96_XperiaSL_KernelOnly.ftf " same as you did in step first buy clicking

flash sign >select "fastboot" > browse "LT26ii_6.2.B.1.96_XperiaSL_KernelOnly.ftf"
and follow the onscreen steps till your phone Xperia SL ( lt26ii) automatic reboot.

Congrats your phone lt26ii is now rooted..!!!
